woohoo! it finally DONE!

BonJour! wat a day! was completely wear out!Din go out today cos contractor came to and up our window. Need to look after the whole situation. It was a day thingy, tot of changing the rivet only, but since out window is quite old, we might as well change the whole thing(including toilet door). Well, it is the $3600 job that i mentioned before. Im quite happy with it. Took a few pics, and compare! heehee

Woke up at abt 9am and have breakfast with family as we wait for the contractor to come. While waiting, i snapped a few shot of my OLD window! heehee.Alright, they came with tools and our new window. They began to tear and rip off our old panel. Everything was fine till this moment!Neighbour(directly below my flat) : Hei! Hei! Zhou Chuan Kou di! Wei!Translation(Hey! hey! the guy up there!) calling us!

leRoy: *thinking who's that? hmmm... Sound like a PRC (i looked out of my window)

Neighbour: *from his window he looked up to mi. Wei Wei! Ni xiao xin dian, bu yao da dao wo di chuan. (be careful, dun hit my window!)

Contractor(ah beng tone): haiya, guan ni chuan kuo jiu mei shi le. (haiya, juz close ur wondow lah)

leRoy: hanah! Guan ni the chuan lah.... (Yah lah, Juz close window)

Neighbour: air..com neh?, ru guo ni men bu tin, wo jiu bao jin(how about the aircon? if u guy carry on, i'll report to police!)

leRoy: * walked off snobbishly with my hand waving goodbye!

I was thinking, wah liew... This is a mutual understanding between neighbour. Your cant ask us to stop lidat, we need to get this done before letting the window fall on others. (i dun mind if the window fall on you but not on others). WTF! im damn pissed! I dun want to argue with him. My dad asked mi to walked away and keep dumb too. This is pure stupidity! You can go ahead and report cos we already have a letter from HDB!(allowing us to knock and tear window) Instead u're wasting OUR police perious time... We hv limited human resoures in s'pore!

On the other hand, i got up to my other neighbour(same floor) telling them we'll clean up the corridoor once its done. Sorry to impose them. Their reaction was totally the opposite! They smiled and said, its fine ot no problem. I felt so, so good!

Anyway, the contractors used about 8hours to do 5 set of windows, 2 sliding toilet doors and 1 basin 'door'. it was nicely done up. They are a grp of nice pple. They chatted and joked with us. lolx. We are very satisfied with the work(0f cos lah, $3600 leh).
After that, was the 'spring' cleaning... Vaccum and mopping the floor, clearing up the dust... It was shagged!!! i think i hurt my back again... Sis's cabinet was damn heavy!

Watched soccer thereafter, MANUTD won 3-1 and Bolton cant hold on to their 1-0 lead and lost 5-1 to chelsea!!!

small poly gathering

It has been quite somtime since we gathered le... i tink the last time was at the begining of the year. However, we juz cant get the full strength! quite hard to ask everyone out at a particular time.

Anyway, i suggested that we go for dinner together... I smsed all of them. Onli 12 repiled, 10 out of the 12 are able to make but last minute, 2 out of the 10 din come... Therefore, the 8 of us proceed. We went to the esplanade for dinner.
Tot of going to Al Dente, but its too expensive... So i made reservation at Ichiban Boshi!(within budget, i guess!)

We have a excellent dinner. We began to chat and tok cock... It was simply the best. Juz fel like we are back in Poly days. Xue just kept talking and talking, and forgot to order her food loh. heehee...
